I love nothing more than a big fat baby. The chubby cheeks, their screw on hands, the thigh rolls. They are adorable! I was so ready to have a little chunk of my own, with Michelin Man rolls all over. It is fairly common for Type 1 Diabetic mothers to have large babies – I was prepped

So…..errr…. turns out I’m a bit rubbish at this. I have zero discipline when it comes to exercise! Day 8: Managed to get myself in gear and do the workout. Noticed myself slacking off a bit, particularly in the strength exercises, so I tried to stop that. It worked…. kind of. Day 9: I suddenly became really

On Saturday JHogg and I dropped the dog and Piglet off at Grannys and headed to our local beer festival. We had been to it last year, but I was around 7 or 8 weeks pregnant and had morning sickness and generally miserable! We had high hopes for this year and it didn’t disappoint! They

Another week! JHogg’s shoulder is improving so he’s back to being a bit more hands on in the kitchen which really helps me out. We’re getting a bit bored of our meals so if you have any recipe suggestions please leave them below! The Adult’s Menu Monday: Chicken and New Potato Hash Tuesday: Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry Wednesday: Tomato

Two weeks ago crisis hit. We’re a man down and I’ve been going it solo parenting Piglet. JHogg is here in spirit, but he’s been about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. He had an emergency trip to a&e for a suspected dislocated shoulder, a follow up for an X-ray (which resulted in one

And don’t forget tossing a couple in some Pimms or a glass of prosecco

Sleep Regression

In the last week Piglet has started to find it pretty tough to fall asleep. He’s gone from the most easy going little chap to a squirming, crying, tired little boy! Once he’s asleep and in his cot he’s pretty good at staying asleep, it’s just the falling asleep that is tough. We haven’t changed

This first week has been a bit mixed. I’ve definitely learnt that I don’t work out as hard when I don’t had a trainer with their eye on me! The start of Shred has also coincided with JHogg being injured, leaving me doing all the housework and child care. He is feeling much better now

Piglet is being a bit difficult around bed time at the moment so I’ve tried to choose meals I can do prep in advance or make up fairly quickly this week. Hopefully that should mean less dinners at 10pm like we ended up with last week! The Adult’s Menu Monday: Chicken Kiev, potato wedges and
