Baby Club Box

You Baby Club is a site dedicated to Mother and Baby freebies, competitions, offers and promotions. The offers are a mixture of exclusive and available elsewhere, and as usual the catch is the brands may use your contact details in the future.

There is a daily giveaway where you have a chance to win 1 of 200 Your Baby Club Baby Box’s. Once you have entered your details once it is a simple one click to enter again daily. I mostly forgot about entering, but occasionally one of their emails would catch my eye. I won one of the boxes a few weeks ago and it arrived through the post last week.

The Baby Club Box

You Baby Club BoxIt arrived via courier and there was no denying who it was from! Inside were a variety of leaflets, as well as some freebies to try.

Your Baby Club Box

The first item I pulled out was a Mam bottle. I now have 2 of these as I received one free with my Try It Club order too. I haven’t tried them as Piglet is predominately breast fed.Baby Club Free Mam BottleThe Nuby UberSoother is the perfect addition for us. Piglet isn’t fussy and will take any form of soother as far as we can tell. Having an extra one in the house is never something I’m going to complain about! It is different from other soothers as it claims to be suitable from 0-18 months. We’re a big fan of dinosaurs around here so the design is a hit too.Baby Club free Nuby UberSoother

Metanium Everyday is included in a 15g tube – perfect for popping in the change bag. We have’t had any need for barrier creams yet with Piglet so I can’t really put this to the test. This is going ing the change bag and it will be handy to have it there for when we need it!

There is a little tester of Paddy’s Bathroom Bubbly Stuff Bubble Bath, as well as a 50p off voucher if you decide to buy more. I had some reservations as I try to steer clear of scented products with Piglet, but his skin did not react and it smelled really nice and fresh. It is not a brand I had heard of before, but it was developed by the same Dad who established Ella’s Kitchen.

The last item was a full sized packet of Ella’s Kitchen Carrot Multigrain Baby Rice. I was probably the most skeptical about this one. I like to use plain baby rice and then add a fruit or veg as and when it is need. However, I have been mixing this in with various veggies at lunch time and Piglet loves it. I find that it changes the texture of his purees which he seems to prefer. It is a ziplock packet which – for once – actually works.

Conclusion

So ultimately – is it worth it? In order to be able to get one of these boxes you have to enter the competition on the site, most likely multiple times. As much as I’m appreciating the freebies (always looking to save money!) I am getting a lot of spam emails now. You are warned of that, sort of, when you sign up. It really is a lot though. That said – I have an old email address which I use when signing up this sort of thing so most of the mail goes there.

If you have the patience, like a freebie and don’t mind the spam then go for it! If you can’t be bothered though you are realistically not missing out on much.

Sounds like a nice box of freebies! I too also use an old email address for things like this, then you know all your important emails aren’t going to get swallowed up in junk! 🙂

It is quite a lot of effort for arguably not much reward (assuming everyone eventually wins one!) but for us the dummy and baby rice alone made it worth while. I do know people who have gone so far as to set up a new email address just for the junk side of things! thanks for stopping by
