It feels like a long time since I shared a meal plan. I have still been writing them for ourselves every week, but not typed them up to go on here. We did really well last month and didn’t have a single take away. I won’t lie – it was painful – but we managed!

Well we have finally gone out and bought a kitchen! The days of quick and simple meals are behind us….. nearly. It will still be another painful 4 – 6 weeks before we can have it installed and in working order – but we’re making progress at least! I am really struggling with meal ideas

We’re 10 days into our low spend month and so I’m taking advantage and trying to eat out of the freezer! I did pretty well last week with just buying the bare minimum at the supermarket – but I’ll admit I missed my biscuits! I’m not long home from a fab weekend with friends. We were attempting to relive our student days, with bucks fizz for breakfast and a Macdonalds delivery at 9pm for tea. Fun as it was, I’m glad to be getting back to some form of normality now. I’m pretty keen to see some vegetables! We

We’re still in limbo at my mums waiting for out building work to finish. We’re are looking forward to getting home, not just because we’ll have a new kitchen and living space to decorate but because we can slot back into our routine. I haven’t been meal planning while we are here and it just

New year – new meal plan! Over the festive period I didn’t do any meal planning and I hated it. Food shopping was a nightmare because I didn’t know what we’d need and when. Our diet definitely suffered for it as did our bank balance. Part of me is keen for a fresh start and

I know I said last week that I wasn’t gong to do a meal plan this week – but I lied! I’ve decided I’ll do one more week this year. I’m not going to stress too much about sticking rigidly to it for JHogg and I, but having a basic plan will help me out
