Hooray! Meal Plan Monday has returned! I am so pleased to actually have a meal plan for this week. We’ve decided to mix things up a bit though – got to keep things interesting!
Not content with our usual way of shopping, we’re now allocating a portion of our grocery budget just for dinner. We have never really lived to a strict budget before, so as a starting point we have opted for £20 to cover our evening meals. In that we’ve decided to only include the stuff we need to buy fresh, store cupboard staples such as rice or pasta are separate.
The idea is that we can start to reduce that amount until we have a good target that is achievable, while still getting everything we need. I’ll let you know how we got on next week!
