Amy from The Smallest Of Things tagged me in the Rocking Motherhood tag. I like the idea of it, as the general idea is you list 10 ways in which you are rocking motherhood. In a world full of criticism and doubt it is meant to be a pat on the back. Sounds great right? In

We started weaning Piglet at 4 months on medical advice, as he wasn’t the big fat baby we expected him to be. That meant that we couldn’t go down the route of baby led weaning, as I had expected to do. Puree’s went down a treat with Piglet, and he was soon scoffing bigger and

Those that read my blog regularly will know that we meal plan at the start of every week. JHogg grumbles every single time, but for me it is totally worth it to have it done and written down in advance. However, this week I’m off enjoying some Majorcan sunshine, so I don’t have to do

Although Piglet has been weaning since around 20 weeks it is only in the last few weeks that he’s really started taking notice of our food. There is no escape. He is always watching. When he stares up at you with those eyes how are you meant to say no? We are not yet at

We did pretty well last week – I think we only strayed from our plan once and had far less in the way of junk snacks. Here’s hoping this week is the same! The Adult’s Menu Monday: Mince and Tatties Tuesday: Toad in the Hole Wednesday: Chicken and Chorizo Risotto Thursday: Dinner at my mums after kettlebells Friday: Papa

I love nothing more than a big fat baby. The chubby cheeks, their screw on hands, the thigh rolls. They are adorable! I was so ready to have a little chunk of my own, with Michelin Man rolls all over. It is fairly common for Type 1 Diabetic mothers to have large babies – I was prepped
