It’s my birthday! I am celebrating in a caravan just outside Edinburgh, with my Mum, Dad, Piggie, JJ and one of my nephews. It may sound like a bizarre set up – but I had a wedding yesterday and JHogg is holding the fort at home, and that’s were we will be heading back to very soon.

As much as I’d love to believe I was turning 23 again, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that I’m getting older. This birthday is the last one before I turn *gulp* 30 next year, so I thought I would share with you 29 things I have learnt in 29 years.

  1. Being early is always better than being late
  2. When the teacher said “you won’t always have a calculator with you” at school they were not prepared for the way technology was going – but having good maths skills is definitely a bonus anyway!
