I am loving being back at home. Our new hob is perfect and I don’t get enraged when I try to cook anything, and the new oven is clean. Still – even after a month! I am enjoying having full control over our meals again and returning to cook the meals we know and love.
We did it! We have moved back into our house on Saturday and it feels gooooood. My parents were very kind to have us staying with them for so long, but we were all more than ready to get our own space back. My mum took care of 99% of the cooking while we were
It’s been a while since I wrote one of these. While we have been staying with my parents they have taken control of most of the meals, which has been a welcome break for me! My mum doesn’t meal plan in quite the same way that I do, but she generally has a good idea
We have been living at my parents for a few weeks now while our renovations are underway. My mum has been doing 90% of the cooking, which has meant my usual meal plans are fairly redundant! I’m not afraid to admit I’m finding the whole “make it up as we go along” routine quite stressful.
It feels like a long time since I shared a meal plan. I have still been writing them for ourselves every week, but not typed them up to go on here. We did really well last month and didn’t have a single take away. I won’t lie – it was painful – but we managed!

We’re 10 days into our low spend month and so I’m taking advantage and trying to eat out of the freezer! I did pretty well last week with just buying the bare minimum at the supermarket – but I’ll admit I missed my biscuits! It’s another busy week in the OddHogg household! We have a couple of meetings this week about our kitchen design, so hopefully it won’t be much longer before we’ve got something ordered. Until then though we continue our easy meals for dinner. I can’t wait to have the space to properly cook again! That said,
Well I’ll be honest – we didn’t stick to the meal plan for last week, never mind knowing how much we spent on the food. It was an major fail, but with the work we have been doing in the house I think we can be forgiven! With Piglet’s birthday this coming Sunday we are
