Menu planning has become all the more important to me recently. My car has been in for repair for around a month now and so I’m restricted to grocery shopping at the weekends with Jonathans car. This means I need to know what we are going to need as our local shop really only has the basics.

This week we’re less busy and will be eating at home every day. We are hoping to do some DIY once Piglet is in bed so I’ve planned for some relatively quick meals to maximise our sanding and painting time.

The Adult’s Menu

Monday: Chicken and New Potato Hash

Tuesday: Stand and Stuff Tacos

Wednesday: Thai Beef Stir Fry

Thursday: Chicken Fried Rice

Friday: Chicken Pasanda

Saturday: Tortilla Pizza & Sweet Potato Fries

Sunday: Pasta & Meatballs in a Tomato & Mascarpone Sauce

I failed to make JHoggs curried parsnip soup last week – I had forgotten to get the parsnips at the supermarket! I blame baby brain. So thats back on my to do list this week (I have the parsnips now!).

Piglet is still shovelling in food at every opportunity. He rejected Saturdays Avocado, he was not a fan. I’m going to give it a week before trying him with that again!

Tuesday: Parsnip

Wednesday: Butternut Squash

Thursday: Banana

Friday: Apple

Saturday: Broccoli

Sunday: Sweet Potato

I’m going to start mixing things soon (so some of that may change) and I’m looking for inspiration on what could work. Any suggestions are appreciated!
