Roco Clothing Review

When I found out I was having my second son I made no secret of the fact I had some gender disappointment. I feared that by not having a girl I would be missing out on all the pretty outfits that comes with having a girl to dress up, and that boys clothes just wouldn’t be as cute.

Thank goodness Roco Clothing have stepped in to prove me completely wrong and kindly sent me an outfit for Piglet and JJ. With a gorgeous selection of clothing for both girls AND boys I was spoilt for choice, but I think I chose well!

The first outfit I picked was for JJ, and I selected this adorable Sarah Louise romper. It is available in sizes 3 months up to 18 months, and since JJ is only 1 month old and still in newborn clothing I knew that it would be too big. That really doesn’t matter though as he is not crawling around so a bit of extra material is fine – and it means he’ll get lots of use out of it!

The material is light making it perfect for summer, and I adore the embroidery detail on the top. The top and shorts are detachable too to make nappy changes a little bit easier.

For Piglet I opted for something a little more grown up. There was a big selection of suits available for toddlers, and I chose a chino and suit jacket set and some leather loafers. I didn’t want something too formal, but still dressy enough to be worn to a smart occasion.

The shoes in particular caught JHogg’s attention and of course he now wants to source a matching pair for him. The leather is soft making them appear to be quite comfortable to wear. Piglet was able to run around in them straight away without hesitation.

The chinos had tabs on the inside so you can alter them to fit your child. This is perfect for us as Piglet has always been skinny and this means the trousers won’t be constantly falling down on him.

The jacket looked adorable on him. There was enough room in it for him to run and play unrestricted, which I think is really important in kids clothing. Popping up the collar gives a splash of colour and a more casual look.

If you want to look extra casual though, just take your jacket and toss it away. That’s what Piglet did – serves me right for trying to work with children!

We were sent these outfits for the purpose of carrying out a review. All words an opinions are my own.
