If you haven’t come across a Toniebox before, it is a screen free audio player for kids. You place a character, called a Tonie, on the top of the box and then listen to the content. Each Tonie plays different content, raging from stories to songs to educational content.

How Many Tonie’s Do I Need?
We have acquired quite a few Tonie’s over the years and have found around 6 to be the sweet spot for our family – but it may vary for yours. Some people get a bit over excited upfront and buy lots of them, but I found it best to try a few and see which ones your children like before buying more.
Where To Buy A Toniebox And Tonie’s
The Toniebox is widely available these days but not always in the full range of colours. Tonie’s can often be found in the most unusual of shops too, but never the full range.

Where To Buy Second Hand Tonie’s
Tonie’s have a huge resale market and secondhand retail is not at much of a reduced price compared to buying new. That said, it is a great way to get a hold of discontinued Tonie characters or ones that are in high demand.
Buy and Sell Tonie groups on Facebook seem to be the best way to find second hand Tonie’s to buy, but good deals can also be found on eBay, Vinted and marketplace.
