We’re half way through the Easter holidays and just about surviving. Life with both boys at home can be pretty intense, and with the weather being pretty rubbish we didn’t want to go out and about as much as we usually would.
I got some T-Racer Turbo Wheels from Sainsbury’s to try out and see what the boys thought. With 16 vehicles to collect I was hoping it would keep them busy for a good while!

What are T-Racers?
T-Racers are little vehicles with drivers that you can mix and match to make new designs every time. Across the 16 vehicles to collect you can make over 500 combinations for almost endless play.

What Is In The Box?
Each pack comes in the shape of a wheel, making it pretty clear of the racer theme from the get go. When you open it up you find 5 packages, containing a front, middle, racer, back and wheels.

Each box is different so you’ll never know which pieces you are going to get. The parts are individually packaged in paper bags, and you’ve got to keep an eye out for the elusive ultra rare parts. Zee was thrilled to discover some ultra rare wheels in one of our packs. They were gold, his favourite colour, and can be placed on any of the vehicles.

What Did The Kids Think?
As you can imagine the blind bag aspect was a big hit. Zee in particular is old enough now to look and work out which ones he has and which are missing, which he has really enjoyed doing.

They have played for hours racing the cars up and down the kitchen and trading the parts with each other. The endless combinations means the games are ever changing and they don’t seem to have gotten bored of them yet.
It took us a while to discover that the heads of the racers can be swapped around too, making a whole new set of characters.

Both boys were able to change the front and backs of the vehicles very easily, but JJ did struggle with wheels a bit. T-Racers are suitable for age 4+ and as he is only turning 4 next month it’s not a surprise that he wouldn’t quite have the fine motor skills yet. I think with enough practice he’ll be swapping them out at speed like his brother.

Where Can You Buy T-Racers Turbo Wheels?
You can buy the packs of T-Racer Turbo Wheels in Sainsbury’s. They have a special offer of buy 2, get £2 off at the moment too.
We were sent 4 T-Racers Turbo Wheels for the purposes of this review. All words and opinions are my own.
